2002: Won the Excellent Singer Award (9th place in Bel Canto) at the "Harbin Pharmaceutical Group Sixth Cup" National Youth Singer TV Grand Prix.
1999: Silver Award in the Professional Bel Canto Group at the Zhejiang Province "Lion Cup" Vocal Competition.
1997: First Prize at the Ningbo Youth Singer Competition.
Once ranked first in the Ningbo Municipal Outstanding Young Teacher in Education selection.
First Prize at the Ningbo Municipal Teachers' Basic Skills Competition.
Recipient of the Ningbo Wang Kuancheng Education Award and Red Candle Award.
Educational Background & Academic Contributions
Studied under Professor Yu Kaiji (a renowned vocal educator) during his undergraduate years.
Earned a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance in his early career, mentored by Professor Lin Xi.
Has long engaged in exchange studies with vocal experts at domestic and international institutions, including Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Central Conservatory of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Vienna State Opera, and La Scala Opera House.
Published over 20 professional articles and one monograph (Interpretation of Italian Vocal Works Performance) with a national first-class press.
Presided over and completed multiple projects at various levels, including those funded by the Ministry of Education.
Many of his students have been admitted to prestigious domestic and international art institutions to pursue master’s or doctoral degrees in vocal performance or music education.

2006: Guided students to win Gold Award in the Folk Vocal Group at the Ningbo University Students' Art Festival and Silver Award in the Folk Vocal Group at the Zhejiang University Students' Art Festival.
2010: Gold Award at the Ningbo Top Ten Red Singer Competition.
2017: Gold Award in the Professional Bel Canto Group at the Zhejiang "Challenge Cup" Campus Top Ten Singer Competition; Gold Award in Bel Canto Group and Silver Award in Folk Vocal Group at the International Chinese Art Festival (Singapore) Vocal Competition.
2018: Qualified for the Final Exhibition of the Bel Canto Undergraduate Group at the "Peacock Cup" National Higher Art Institutions Vocal Competition (Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangzhou).
2020: Qualified for the Preliminary Round of the Graduate Group (Vocal Elective) at the "Peacock Cup" National Higher Art Institutions Vocal Competition (Sichuan Conservatory of Music).
2022: Gold Award at the Nanjing Division of the Hong Kong International Open Competition; Qualified for the Final Exhibition of the Undergraduate Group at the "Peacock Cup" National Higher Art Institutions Vocal Competition.
Concert Participation & Organization
2004: Participated in a concert at the Hunan Grand Theatre.
2006: Organized the Ding Chao Teacher-Student Practical Concert.
2012: Held a solo concert in Fujian Province.
2015: Invited to perform at the concert of Ms. Hu Xiaoping (renowned Chinese-Canadian soprano, "Oriental Lark") in Toronto, Canada.
2016: Performed at the Ningbo Poly Theatre.
2017: Joined the New Year Concert at Ningbo Grand Theatre; organized the "Afternoon Sunshine - Ding Chao Classroom Practice Teacher-Student Concert".
2018: Supported undergraduate student Huang Biao in holding a solo concert.
2019: Organized the "Voice of Boeing - Ding Chao's Teaching Concert"; performed at the "Classic Chinese Works Special Concert" at Ningbo Concert Hall.
2021: Participated in the "Voice of Classics" Concert hosted by the Ningbo Municipal Government.
